Jug Fantasy Stable Contest Begins May 31

The first races in this year’s Little Brown Jug Fantasy Contest  are Saturday, May 31, so if you want  to get in on the fun and start earning points, your deadline is 10 a.m. that day.  There is no entry fee and it’s easy to sign up at www.jugbarn.com.

The first races in this year’s contest will be divisions of the Burlington Stakes at Mohawk Raceway in Canada.  All  you have to do is go to www.jugbarn.com and create  your own stable of 10 horses, two trainers and two drivers.  Once you have selected your 10-horse stable, you also need to activate five horses in your stable before the 10 a.m. Saturday deadline. 

Valuable prizes will be awarded to the leaders. First place prize is a 42-inch flat screen Toshiba TV, two tickets for the 2009 Jugette and Little Brown Jug in the Hospitality Pavillion, and two nights lodging at the Columbus Sheraton Suites.  Prizes will also be awarded to the 10 halfway leaders following the Meadowlands Pace Final on July 19.

A complete list of colts who will race in the Burlington, and who are also eligible to the Little Brown Jug, will be announced later this week following the draw.
